- The trail can be walked in either direction, but this description follows the Meydanköy direction.
- Starting from Şimşir Forest, follow the route until reaching the Gito road junction, then continue on the main road to the left.
- At the Meydanköy junction, turn right and climb toward the upper village (2 km).
- From the village square, enter the footpath that winds between the houses.
- The trail continues through the forest, alternating between steep zigzags and gentle traverses.
- Once you emerge from the forest, you’ll see the houses of Gito Plateau directly ahead on your left (5.3 km).
- After a short flat section, climb toward the ridge and connect with the main road on the right.
- The ascent ends here.
- Since completing the full route in one day would be strenuous, overnight accommodation at Gito Plateau is recommended.
- From this point onward, a gravel forest road takes you on a long descent.
- The first junction after Gito Plateau is the Dörtyol crossroads (9 km).
- Continuing straight leads to Badara Plateau.
- Turning left goes toward Pazar district.
- Follow the right-hand road to return to your starting point.
- Enjoy the panoramic scenery as you make a comfortable descent.
- When you reach the main road, turn left to return to Şimşir Forest, where the hike began.
