Route Details

- The trail starts and ends in Ayder center.
- Follow the uphill asphalt road — there’s a sidewalk along this initial section.
- Just before Şelale Pansiyon (Waterfall Pension), turn left onto a dirt road.
- The road begins very steeply, but after about 500–600 m and a few bends, it widens and becomes less inclined.
- You’ll reach the entrance of a narrow footpath branching off to the right.
- The path ascends with winding turns, occasionally becoming steeper.
- In the forest section, the trail may be narrow and slippery, requiring you to step over logs and rocks.
- After leaving the forest, the route follows the ridge of a grassy slope, eventually reconnecting with a dirt road that leads directly to Huser Plateau (7 km).
- On the left, you’ll see a sign pointing toward Aşağı Kaçkar Plateau.
- After enjoying the panoramic view — especially the famous “Sea of Clouds” if weather permits — descend via the same path back to Ayder.
