- Starting from Ayder, this route forms a loop that can be walked in either direction after Galerdüzü.
- The trail begins at the Ayder minibus station, continuing along a widened concrete and stone-paved road until Galerdüzü (4 km).
- From Galerdüzü, you can either proceed toward Çeymakçur or Kavrun; this description follows the Çeymakçur direction.
- After Galerdüzü, the road narrows into a forest track, turning left.
- After about 1 km, you’ll reach the Palakçur junction. Continue to the right, climbing gently along the riverbank.
- Crossing a bridge, you leave the forest behind and reach Aşağı (Lower) Çeymakçur Plateau on a mild incline.
- Continue uphill along the road until you arrive at Yukarı (Upper) Çeymakçur Plateau (9.8 km).
- As completing the full route in a single day would be exhausting, overnight accommodation at Çeymakçur is recommended.
- Beyond the wooden bridge, the road gives way to a mountain trail, which continues entirely as a footpath until Kavrun.
- The path becomes steep immediately after the bridge, zigzagging upward and leftward into the slope and valley.
- When you start crossing small creek beds, the first climbing stage is over.
- The second stage follows faint tracks carved by streams, climbing again gently to the right.
- Once this section ends, you’ll reach the flat basin of Karadeniz Lake, visible on your right-hand side (12.5 km).
- Continuing on the trail, you’ll come to a junction:
- To the left leads over the Lanetleme Pass toward Heveg (Yaylalar) Village,
- To the right (our route) descends gently to a nameless lake — locals refer to it as “... Lake.”
- After the lake, the third climb begins and continues until Kavrun Lakes Pass (13.5 km).
- In clear weather, you’ll see a lake just below the pass.
- From there, follow the path toward the lake to join the Öküzyatağı Trail (explained in Route Y05).
- Continue rightward, descending steeply in zigzags down to the stream bed.
- Once you reach the river plain, follow a gentle downhill slope along the stream.
- At the point where you cross the stream, make a short, steep descent, then cross to the other side (16 km).
- After the crossing, follow a faint trail until Kavrun Plateau comes into view.
- The path continues on the left side of the river gorge; once you reach it, the plateau houses will appear below, offering a panoramic view.
- Several well-defined trails lead down to the same point — the main road in the heart of Kavrun Village.
- Turn right toward Kavrun center, then continue walking along the road.
- Pass through Aşağı (Lower) Kavrun Plateau, reaching the Galerdüzü junction, and return to Ayder via the same road.
